Eating and eating and still eating….

1) Mellben Seafood Restaurant @ Amk

Duration: Queue (1hr) Wait (1hr) Eat (20mins)

Dish tried: Claypot BeeHoon (Male Crab)

Soup is not too creamy.  Soup and smooth beehoon combination makes it really tasty.

Not forgetting ,the soft and tender crab meat in chunks.  OOHH

and so , the price sums up to be $55.80 for 2 pax.

Worthwhile, definitely =)

you love crabs ,don’t you?

i love to eat crab a lot. i can eat many of them.

i didn’t even care about how to idenitfy male or female crabs.

i am just happy with big pincer with lots of meat in it.

here , i am trying to dissecting information about crab to you and for myself.

even female crabs are vain – they have painted fingernails!!

The easiest way to tell a female crab from a male is that female crabs usually have ‘painted fingernails’ – that is, the females have red tips on the edges of their front claws. Males crab claws are always blue before they’re cooked

The next easiest way to tell a female crab from a male is by the ‘apron’ on the underneath section of the crab. A male crabs apron looks like an upside down ‘T’ – it looks like it has a long handle to it. The female crab’s apron is wider, more triangular, and has a shorter handle at the end.

Egg Tarts!
I like the custard portion of the egg tart! Just feel that the crust is slightly thin. I do not know if i prefer flaky crust over this harder version of crust. Well, is nice!

This dish is often made during Chinese New Year and is everybody favourite dish!
We all love it 😀 The group has been so creative to do this tofu-mayonaise !

baked fish rice was really delicious !

Selling some cupcakes and poached chocolate icecream.

i am falling more in love with cakes, bought the black and white chocolate of this cupcakes.

erh. cupcake for about 6 bucks you should think twice – no doubt its rich chocolate taste
